Kōke'e Lodge
Kōkeʻe Lodge needed a refined visual brand and a complete website overhaul to drive cabin bookings. We set out to establish a timeless digital presence that feels established, intuitive, and authentically rooted in Kōkeʻe.

Rooted in Heritage, Built for Conversion
For Kōkeʻe Lodge, it was never about just making things look pretty. It was about building an identity that actually felt like stepping into the park. I took design inspiration straight from the Lodge's unique location and surrounding environment. The web palette pulls directly from the deep, damp greens of the native rainforest and the rust-colored earth along the Waimea Canyon rim, balanced with warm neutrals that mirror the feel of the historic cabins. To keep things from feeling too clean or sterile, the typography brings in that tactile warmth. Pairing a heavy, stamped headline font with a softer, paper-ink body text gave the Lodge a visual voice that feels established, rustic, and lived-in. Bringing this into the website meant taking a huge mix of information and giving it real structure. I prioritized cabin rentals right at the top, streamlined the layout, and added subtle animations to keep the experience smooth and modern. The end result is a cohesive digital space that honors the historic character of Kōkeʻe while making it effortless for guests to book a stay.
